Eric Scott Alexander is currently Associate Professor at Boise State University where he teaches courses in Music Composition and Music Theory. Dr. Alexander is an active composer of music for the concert stage as well as dance and film, and his music has been performed in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Me as a Teacher
I understand each student has his or her own individual learning style. I am patient and will work at the appropriate pace with students, but also expect students to put in effort in order to make progress.
My Teaching Style
I have taught music theory and composition lessons to young teenagers up through older adults. Over the years I have taught many different levels of students and with a multitude of learning styles. I can gauge after the first lesson where the student is in his or her learning, and depending on the student's, long-term goals, how to best move forward.
