My Introduction
I was a faculty member for over twenty years in the music department at Victor Valley College, and have instructed all four levels of the college’s piano program. Leading a full, private piano studio has enriched my life as well, as I have enriched the musical lives of my students as they maintain a wonderful progression. Some of my musical experiences include performing in church settings and weddings, directing musical theater, accompanying Desert Strings Conservatory and other serious instrumentalists, as well as playing with the local symphony orchestra. I have also served as an evaluator for programs presented by the California Association of Professional Music Teachers and the Music Teachers’ Association of California.Graduate of Chapman University’s School of Music

Me as a Teacher
I am enthusiastic, experienced, collaborative, and motivating. I love the experience of opening up on all levels, a musical journey for students of the piano. I look forward to helping you achieve your musical goals!
My Teaching Style
Each student is unique and the connection between instructor and student is crucial in an Applied Music setting. The balance between interpersonal connection and pushing the student to excellence is in itself an art. My teaching style always keeps in mind to be giving this student the tools that will last them a lifetime of musicianship and enjoyment. I firmly believe that I, as the instructor, while guiding the student to successfully reach the established goals, listen to the student and incorporate elements in the musical journey that specifically interest them.
